In the fourth rounds halfway point Rebollar landed a solid left hook to the chin of Sheehy. In the first three rounds Rebollar was the aggressor in a close fight against Sheehy and had the edge. Light Charlie Sheehy, 6-0 (4), #134.8, of Brisbane, CA, defeated Angel Rebollar, 6-2 (3), #133.4, of CA, over 6 rounds. Seconds later another left to the body and down went Cardenas into his own corner saying something to them taking the count of Referee Edward Collantes. In the final half minute a left to the body from Ruvalcaba hurt Cardenas. In the first round the taller used an effective jab controlling Cardenas. Commey got up and fought back until a body shot hurt him as he backed up and dropped to a knee taking the full count. In the eleventh round Ramirez dropped Commey with left hook and on the back of the head as he was going down for an 8-count from Referee Jack Reiss. He ended the round landing a right on the chin of Ramirez. In the tenth round which should be the last being it isn’t a world title fight Commey is looking exhausted clinching too much. In the ninth round it was evident Commey is a lightweight in a super lightweight fight and not strong enough to hurt Ramirez. In the seventh round both were throwing punches in bunches with Commey landing some solid lead rights on the chin of Ramirez. By the end of the round the fans were cheering “Jose, Jose” as he had Commey against the ropes. ![]() ![]() In the sixth rounds halfway point Commey landed his best punch a right on the chin of Ramirez. In the fifth round Ramirez continued having Commey against the ropes. In the fourth rounds halfway point Commey fought well in the middle of the ring landing a pair of rights to the chin of Ramirez before returning to the ropes. In the third round Commey fought back better off the ropes but didn’t win the round. In the second round Ramirez again had Commey on the ropes on the defense. In the first round Ramirez had Commey against the ropes out landing him quite a bit with left hooks to the body.
